  • 27th Jun, 2019 - The Southport Squash Centre at the northern end of the Gold Coast will close its doors, with Squash Australia unable to save the five-court centre despite best efforts. Squash Australia has managed the centre since it was due to close in January 2018, ensuring that the courts remained open for as long as possible.   • 26th Mar, 2019 - The Australian team to play in the 2019 WSF World Doubles Championships has been announced, with seven members of the successful 2018 Commonwealth Games squad earning selection. Jessica Turnbull will make her Australian senior debut in the event which will be held at the Carrara Squash Centre on the Gold Coast from 17-21 June.
